Prior to joining NRD CS team, Mrs. Rūta Jašinskienė had been working at the police units for 20 years. She was responsible for drug control and organized crime investigations, including tactical and strategic analysis. For the last ten years she leaded a unit in charge of national competence and coordination role among police units as well as law enforcement agencies in drug control and intelligence analysis area. She contributed a lot preparing National annual reports on Illegal drug circulation and Organised crime in Lithuania as well as setting up an intelligence and public data management process at Lithuanian police.
Due to an involvement in Lithuanian Presidency in 2013 in the EU Council team, almost ten years membership in the EU Council Horizontal working Party on drugs, accomplishment of Lithuanian police mobile liaison officer’s duties in Germany, participation in different international forums, such as UNODC CND sessions, HONLEA, Europol working groups and Eurojust coordinating meetings, short term European Commission mission in Moldova, Mrs. R.Jašinskienė has broad experience in international and interagency cooperation development, transnational investigations, is able to work independently as well as in multilingual and multicultural team. R.Jašanskienė is familiar with international project management, personally she initiated and coordinated two projects co-financed by European Commission, one of them was related to a development of specialised trainings at Lithuanian Police.
